Accessible Community Cars

We provide door-to-door transport (which is suitable either for people who are mobile or those with a disability) for individuals in need in Annandale. If the passenger requires a carer during their journey they will need to provide an escort who can give assistance.

ACTS individual transport is for people who have difficulty using public transport either because they have restricted mobility or where their transport needs cannot be met by the existing transport network.

Priority will be given to passengers with a disability but you do not have to be disabled to use the service. There are 5 vehicles, all of which will accommodate a passenger travelling in a wheelchair in addition to other seated passengers .

BOOKING
Although we will do our best to meet passengers’ transport needs we are limited by vehicle and volunteer availability.  It is advisable to contact us giving plenty of notice as to when you need to travel. We do not operate on an immediate basis like a taxi service.
