We are delighted to have received funding from The Robertson Trust of £10,000 per year for 3 years (starting from 2016/17) towards our running costs. This support is very welcome and means that less funds need to be found from other sources to meet projected expenditure. We are very grateful to The Robertson Trust for this award and will use it continue provision of high quality, efficient, accessible, user friendly community transport in Annandale & Eskdale.

The Initiative is largely dependent on funding from Dumfries & Galloway Council to maintain its services. Our Area Committee has reduced the maximum sum available for 2017/18, from the £50,000 needed, to £20,000. The grant provided for 2016/17 leaves a shortfall of £16,000; in 2017/18 the anticipated shortfall could be as much as £36,000. This threatens the future of ATI. We would urge you to support the necessary funding for community transport services by Dumfries & Galloway Council in 2017/18 by signing the petition.
